Palluel (French pronunciation: [palɥɛl]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France[3] 19 miles (31 km) east of Arras, in the valley of the river Sensée.

It reached 250 meters wide and traveled 23 km.[4][5] This was the most intense tornado to hit France since the 1845 Montville tornado.[6]
