Carrodano (Ligurian: Carreu, locally Caröa[3]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of La Spezia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 532 and an area of 21.0 square kilometres (8.1 sq mi).[4]
