I created a stub for the Bartholomew Fair as part of the assessment of the article on Smithfield, London. This is mostly meant to disambiguate between the play by Ben Jonson and the actual event and to avoid cluttering the Smithfield article with too many details on the fair. Contributions to expand this stub are very welcome, the list of references (including full-text searchable refs in Google Books) should be a useful place to start with. --DarTar (talk) 15:06, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
I added the Primary sources template to Bishopsgate Institute which has clearly been written by a member of the marketing staff of this FE college (the user in question did not edit any other articles). It is however a reasonable article, so I upgraded it from Stub to C. Request clean-up and references.--Lidos (talk) 10:01, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Hi - I'm new and I hope someone can give me some guidance. On the Livery Companies page, there is a complete list of livery companies and just one external link below the list. I created last year a new ebsite liverycompanies.com which has pictures of the Masters and badges, one-click links to the Companies websites, and links to maps of wheere their h alls are. I think this would be a useful addition to the list of external links but (a) it wiolates the restriction that you shouldnt put in links to websites you own or control, and (b) I havent any idea how to do it. Can somebody let me know what they think about (a) Thanks Piersnic
Hi all. I refreshed and extended the Slade Green article in 2016 following original research and many authority citations. I think its no longer a "Starter". How long does will it take required editors to browse and give feedback?
As one of the main landmarks in the City, and one of the best examples of Brutalist architecture in London, I find the Barbican Estate deserves a better article. Anyone willing to help? --DarTar (talk) 04:15, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
Somerset House - much of the prose is essay-like, and in need of verifiable sources.Trillig (talk) 14:34, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
Crystal Palace, London - I've been working on restructuring and improving this article. Still have a few more tasks to do (geography section, notable people and add references for history). If anyone has any ideas on how to further improve the article/reassess it, this would be helpful. SheffGruff (talk) 16:09, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - Has been written pretty piecemeal since it's very first incarnation, and has taken a large step backwards (IMO) since the Games ended and we moved into 'Legacy Mode'. Could do with a taskforce of keen and knowledgeable editors to do it justice. Grunners (talk) 12:34, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
