Valdoule (French pronunciation: ) is a commune in the department of Hautes-Alpes, southeastern France. The municipality was established on 1 July 2017 by merger of the former communes of Bruis (the seat), Montmorin and Sainte-Marie.[3]

Geographical Location

Situated in the Baronnies region, Valdoule lies west of Gap and north of Serres. The commune shares a border with the Drôme department and the commune of La Charce.

The creation of Valdoule aimed to streamline local administration and enhance communal services by uniting Bruis, Montmorin, and Sainte-Marie into a single entity.
