The proposed modifications to the Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines and the U4C Charter are now on Meta-wiki for community notice in advance of the voting period. This final draft was developed from the previous two rounds of community review. Community members will be able to vote on these modifications starting on 17 April 2025. The vote will close on 1 May 2025, and results will be announced no later than 12 May 2025. The U4C election period, starting with a call for candidates, will open immediately following the announcement of the review results. More information will be posted on the wiki page for the election soon.
Please be advised that this process will require more messages to be sent here over the next two months.
The Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) is a global group dedicated to providing an equitable and consistent implementation of the UCoC. hello, I have posted an article about a well known News outlet in Syria and it was deleted, could i know what the issue is? --Syrianauthor1 (talk) 12:25, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi Qwejfki,
I was wondering if you might be able to help me understand why my edits to a page got almost immediately rejected by another user.
I edited this page: https://en.wikipedia.orghttps://scientiaen.com/Portland_Japanese_Garden
Into this: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Portland_Japanese_Garden&oldid=1283840091
I was told by Babysharkboss2 "I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Portland Japanese Garden have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk."
I added multiple references, photos, links out to other Wikipedia pages and corrected a lot of misinformation. I'm confused how a few hours of edits could be done just in a matter of minutes. I doubt they actually read it that quickly?
Thanks! --WLernerPJG (talk) 14:09, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
feels weird, especially a good faith edit like this, is not appropriate. The second edit Portland Japanese Garden (Diff ~1283840266) was reverted with no explanation, even though it appears fine to me (though WLernerPJG should have updated the citation for the visitor numbers - I can see from their other edit that it is sourced to https://wpmedia.japanesegarden.org/files/id:af8d5c26bdb82db1ad2fc888545602ed/directUpload/PJG-History-2024-compressed.pdf). — Qwerfjkltalk 11:01, 5 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi Qwerfjkl! Hope you are having a nice weekend :)
As you can probably tell, something is off with Qwerfjkl (bot) (BRFA · contribs · actions log · block log · flag log · user rights) appears to be a little trigger-happy with sending out mass messages for posts at WP:VPM (see MassMessage log). I've gotten two copies of Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Archive 81#Final proposed modifications to the Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines and U4C Charter now posted, and I also got two copies of Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Archive 81#Universal Code of Conduct annual review: provide your comments on the UCoC and Enforcement Guidelines. Would you be able to investigate? Best, HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 20:56, 5 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi. I submitted my first draft to draftspace. Was I supposed to select "mainspace" instead? Also, I am supposed to clear my sandbox. How do I clean up the redirect? --Flamingkapala (talk) 23:54, 8 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi there
How do I create a page? --Theverify2025 (talk) 02:14, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
Dear Sir and Madam, I am new to Wikipedia at this time and I am facing a lot of problems while working. Like, the data of most of the companies which are listed in the Indian stock market is updated every year and every three months. I update that data in the old posts of Wikipedia. My problem with this is that when I update the data, I have to give its reference from a big media channel or news. But many times I have seen that there is no relevant data on those big news websites. And if I take data from a small website and give its reference, then that link is removed from Wikipedia. I have been told that I am spamming due to which Wikipedia can suspend my account. Due to which I am not updating any post on Wikipedia right now --Subhashyadav120 (talk) 07:28, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
hello! I was just wondering, if I were to update some of my cities and their newest info, what would be appropriate on their infobox? for instance, mine just got an event center and I was wondering if that'd be alright to put up as an image. --Whynoms (talk) 00:16, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
Do you know why Draft:Sutter Middle School got 3 feedbacks in 2 days but then its been quiet for the past week? (again sry if bad question im new & bad) --Folsom WikiDude (talk) 01:52, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
I should add, I know it says it can take months, but the previous responses were very fast. Is it just good luck running up? Sorry, I have been waiting for what feels like a while (it's not that long), and I feel impatient even though I know I shouldn't be. I'm really sorry for taking up your time.
