Misc

"(ATSC & ISDB are part of the DVB standard)" Someone care to post any kind of reference? Pmbarros 20:36, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

The line "DVB standards:" is misleading, since ATSC and ISDB are not related with the DVB consortium. It should be rewritten as "Digital terrestrial television standards". --Cantalamessa 08:32, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

1440p and 960p

What are they classified as? Where should we place them?

PalPlus

Pal Plus is still in use... removed defunct info from the template.Ricnun 12:53, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Global perspective

Removed POV as expressed with "TVRO". Systems still in wide use all over the word, were analog cable is common, for example. Template is simpler now.Ricnun 12:59, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Why MUSE and MAC were put into historical?

I think historical line covers only pre PAL & NTSC systems. Analog HDTV systems should be handled as vestigial standards.--Hadsn (talk) 08:19, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Digital satellite broadcast systems

Should we add more digital satellite broadcast system here? or remove them? Digital satellite broadcast systems and video formats are not very relevant, but analog HDTV video formats are basically used on satellites broadcast. Corchorifolius (talk) 12:29, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
