Moon parametres

If they're to be deleted from the template (which would facilitate using this template in other articles than the moon articles themselves), the parametres will have to be removed from all 27 moon articles as well.

These navigation parametres were introduced when the template was lighter than it is now: it used to group the moons instead of listing them in bulk. If the bulk list (which drowns out the natural groupings, in my opinion) is kept, then the parametres do indeed become redundant.

Hello Urhixidur, I think having the full list of satellites in the footer is the more useful format since it allows both serial and random access to any satellite. Clearly, this will no longer be practicable if the number of satellites ever reaches into the hundreds (matter of time?). I will offer to edit the moon articles to enable this footer to go on the same basis as other planets' 'natural satellites' articles. Thanks, Ian Cairns 18:13, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)
