It seems like it would be useful to have a way, perhaps optionally to include a link to world or worldwide information i.e. things including all the continents. For example, there is Demographics by continent navbar which uses this template and a page for all the continents used on the Demographics of the world page but there is not really a good way or place to link to reference the Demographics of the world article itself. I know this template is transcluded into a lot of things so I wouldn't want to tweak it, but it seems like there should be some way to include in it things related to "the next level up" in some instances, 'the world' 'of Earth' whatever. If there were a way to make it something optional that might avoid any unwanted impact on existing articles. Just throwing it out there as something for someone more skilled than me in the intricacies of wiki-magic to implement or suggest some better solution. Phil (talk) 22:47, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
