Hotel Indigo
Hotel Indigo is an American chain of small, individually owned boutique hotels, which is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts (InterContinental Hotels Group). As of September 2023 it had 149 hotels with 19,529 rooms worldwide, and stated that it planned to open 129 more.
History

Inuyama, Japan
The first Hotel Indigo opened in Atlanta, Georgia, US in October 2004 and a second location opened in the historic Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois in May 2005 (later being foreclosed and re-branding as the Claridge House). The chain's first non-US property, which in 2017 became the independent Metcalfe Hotel, was opened in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
In July 2019 at the Traverse City, Michigan Hotel Indigo, a murder-suicide took place in room 318, blocks away from the National Cherry Festival.
