"Dead Bitches" was released during a period of heightened tension between FBG Duck's Fly Boy Gang (affiliated with the Gangster Disciples' Tookaville faction) and rival Black Disciples-affiliated groups, particularly O-Block. The song followed FBG Duck's 2018 hit "Slide" and his 2019 "Exposing Me (Remix)" with Rooga, both of which fueled his rivalry with O-Block and Only the Family (OTF). Prior to "Dead Bitches," FBG Duck released "Chicago Legends," a track perceived as a peace offering to de-escalate gang conflicts. However, ongoing provocations, including King Von's disses and social media taunts, prompted Duck to return to confrontational lyrics.[3]
