The 48th Japan Academy Film Prize (第48回日本アカデミー賞) is the 48th edition of the Japan Academy Film Prize, an award presented by the Nippon Academy-Sho Association to award excellence in filmmaking.^[1] It took place at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo on March 14, 2025, with free announcer Shinichi Hatori and actress Sakura Ando hosting the show.^[1]^[2]

The nominations were announced on January 21, 2025.^[3]
